RE:RE:RE:Can't help but laughI agree with you. In the October 26, 2016 LDS press release, they stated:
The Joint Venture has a target date of December 19th for completion of the facility’s improvements. Upon the completion of these improvements and prior to the fiscal year end the Joint Venture intends to have distribution and sales throughout California... The Company will have regular updates regarding the progress of the facility’s improvements.
This was released befor the passing of Prop 64 on Novmeber 7, 2017. The company realized they would not be compliant with new recrational regulatious that come into effect in 2018. They decided to slow play it and build the facily for future compliance. The truth is, they should have announced their change in plan and provided regular updates as they said they would do. This part is unfortunate.
If you want insights and updates on what is happening on the inside of LDS, follow Danny Deadlock's updates. He has a line of communicaiton to management and his most recent update published April 4 speaks to how many regulations LDS is taking into account in the buildout. It's slower than first thought, but expected to be well worth it once the crackdown comes in 2018 and LDS is one of the few left standing.
One more thing... Danny will be in the facility tomorrow morning to have a first hand look and get an update from management. He was obviously invited to come down by management. Let me ask you all this, do you think if things were not going well management would have invited him and opened the doors to write about what has been happening.....?

Anyone that works with governments realizes the process is slow and frustrating.
Going off side with the government is a death wish.
Need an example... look at The Cash Store. It's no longer around.
At it's peak, it had 550 locations all across Canada.
