i do not get fussed about insider trading. Unless it is just outright dumping.

And i said IF it were just based on financials.

I think the the timing of the Gypsy Swap (which I give credit to Buckshot or DD for bringing up) was very very bad. One week left in the year end. Yikes!!

The i-bankers are likely really out of joint because of it. Investopedia said it well about the nature of a Gypsy Swap. I do not want to offend anybody but they can go back and read it.

The day it happened I DM'd a regular from this board and said it was suspicious.

Losing instutional support (from one institution) will be felt. if multiple are put out ... ouch.

That they MAY HAVE (not certain) telegraphed a quarter that doesn't live up to expectations and that may have been the contagion.  I SAID MAY. I SAID MAY. There could be other reasons that hopefully an analyst asks about on the 4Q call.

And i I think it is a fair thing to say that is part of what you are seeing. They are in the penalty box.

But capitalists will forget if they make money.

Keep well

feel free to go through my post history you will find my analysis in there. No need to regurgitate. Start after the Feb 14 Q3 release.

And analysts take everything you said into consideration. If they took only financials WEED would not be priced where it is. It would be much lower.

It is no secret I am bearish.  I have been asked when I'll enter and I said it is not price related but EBITDA timing related and I do not want to pay a premium for Joe Retails inability to read financial statements.

But when I see some infantile posts and conspirary theories that are easy to de bunk I will do the remainder of the board seeking information, and not the shtick entertainment that you have decided to embark on,

if I can make you laugh (and I hope my Gypsy Curse may have explained that the institutionals were not nearly as elated as this board was with that transaction) while you learn... all the better.

I reply by DM to WAAAAY more CGC posters and lurkers than Aphria. Maybe the lurkers do not want to have to deal with the boorish name calling that happens on here when dissenting options are posted.

I'll apologize to those I have offended about the "tin foil hats" but some of the low sp theories are straight out of the X files.  It was at first entertaining then it was clutter.

There is no conspiracy holding down price. When your financials are what CGCs are you rely on news to make the price go up.  Your ascending triangle should pay off next week not due to a tightly wound spring but to legislation news.  (That article was hot garbage and so many people here. cannot differentiate what a load of carp it was as they were all nodding their heads in agreement. Puff, Tweedlede, and others.)

So if you would rather use a Ouija board than facts PLEASE put me in ignore.

I hope your stock and others in the industry jumps significantly next week.

If you would like to DM I will do my best to get back to you in a courteous and thoughtful manner if the DM is likewise.

Have a good day.

Are analysts looking at things like current capactiy? Funded capacity? Brand equity? Exports/international partnerships? COGS?  $25mm seems like a stretch unless they have been selling a significant portion of their inventory wholesale to other lp's or exporting.

You seem to have it out for the company with one bearish post after another. I don't own shares in Aphria, and I certaintly don't feel that I am in any position to make similar comments to investors on that board.

Anyone who takes comments on a stock bullboard at face value kind of deserves to lose money.

Not sure which "issues" you're referring to or "turning around" of what? That's what I asked you in my first post and I didn't get an answer...

The one reason i'll disagree that the fins are holding this down is that every other shyt LP has jumped substantially and have just as poor of fins as Canopy. Except Canopy actually has sales.

Aph is the only company who is in the good. So if only APH was moving i'd buy what you were saying. The fact that we see every turd but Canopy moving makes me wonder.

Bruce's sell and the gypsy swap may be the main culprit here. Some insiders just cant get out of their own way. I guess $50k a quarter with bonus's wasnt good enough for that Oakville Lakeshore home.

Cheers

One would think the executive team and board at Canopy knew the risk they were taking from a perspective of optics when they executed the Gypsy Swap. Like Buck and others have pointed out, there must have been a pretty important reason to have that capital available ASAP. One would imagine the rewards of executing the swap out-weighed the temporary damage.
