That being said, the gypsy swap was and is a turn off to investors for the shear fact that this investor clearly wasnt a long term investor since he wanted the 4 month hold lifted. And I think its obvious he dumped. It leaves a bad taste in longs mouthes.

Canopy took the easy money here. I suspect they wont be doing that again, as the market didnt respond well to it.

If the 4 month hold was in place. All wouldve been well. But now things are all adding up to be a pretty scummy little flip for this anonymous pp investor. Really would love to know who it was. And I think its obvious this guy had inside info of the CBC article being dropped.

This is a WHOLE lot of speculation on who is investing, and their timeline for exiting.  4 months to sell some some into legilsation hype is not that bad of an incentive for a single investor to pony up 24M.  Perhaps he wants to protect the downside risk as well?  Market didnt respond well?  In what context?  Because most dillution deals cost % and usually fills to the price point. Canopy's stock only slightly dipped below, and was strongly supported after.  Now its climbing its way out like it has every other time.

As far as I'm concerned (as a long), I WANT to see Canopy flex its ability to raise capital at a premium.  I WANT to see more CAPEX aquisitions.  I WANT to see them tear away from the rest as far production, sales, and footprint.  I have the luxery of already making crazy money on this stock.  This stock is not about who's going to make the most % this week.  Its about who's going to make the most long term customers in summer 2018.

Green: In what context? OGI is up from 2.05 to 3.08. I can name about 15 other examples too if you want.

Red: Cant build without the share price growing. Cant raise money at a lower denominator than last. That only works so many times. Dilution needs to be offset by a rising share price.

P.S how does anybody justify buying APH at this price lolol.

Last I heard OGI raised at 3.60.. I didnt see anything after that so I'm not sure why that is a good example.  And yes, most LP's did shrug off financing, but Canopy has done just that as well, and appears to be continuing the trend.

Dillution will be offset by an increase in enterprise value.   The only problem is most people are not seeing the true enterprise value of being the biggest source of legal MJ in the country, and how that will influence their success by aquiring early long term customers who enjoy their offerings.

We never agree because you have too much difficulty seeing the long term value that Canopy is creating by pushing as quickly as possible now.

you need to realize its not what you or I see its what the market sees. Market thinks Canopy sucks. Thats all that matters. And I'm losing money agreeing that this has a bright future lol

The market has priced Canopy in as the winner.  Traders think this stock sucks.  Well the bad traders anyways. The good ones are making plenty of $.

Dont even pretend to be upset about losing money, you have said it yourself the running average is a dumb metric to gauge success.  Look at the balance sheet.  Your doing ok.
