RE:RE:RE:RE:711 buys Sunoco storesPerhaps I don't understand the value of retail biz, but if a fully integrated oil company sells their retail distribution chain, I'd expect that contracts locking in fuel sales to said chain would be specified as part any sale. As the Imperial Oil and now Sunoco sales show, there is a lot of value locked into these real estate assets, and with E&P firms still facing challenges in the face of 'lower for longer' oil prices, it would seem that selling the chains and using the proceeds to buy up distressed E&P assets could be advantageous.
