Hey Red_Deer,
I invest in things I like, with either a great underlying resource, and/or a solid management team. I'm not all that familiar with Trigon, but the little I do know about has indicated it has been a disappointment thus far. I haven't been bullish on copper for the last two years, and that has clearly made me wrong, as the facts don't lie, copper has had a hell of a run since Trump was elected.
Now, F&M obviously still believes Trigon can be salvaged and turned into a viable entity in the future. This is evident from the PP's done by AAB, SMC,and RM. I'm not thrilled about the PP's as a shareholder of both AAB/SMC, but obviously I'm not as well-versed in the asset as management is. I think if anything, Trigon is a very long-term play, at least 4-5 years away from commercial production in the best-case scenario. Maybe I'm totally out to lunch here, and copper has a phenomenal run to $4-5 in the next couple of years as some suggest, who knows. I'm not convinced, and therefore do not hold that particular company personally. That could change at some point depending on material developments when/if they occur.
