RE:RE:RE:RE:European Gold ForumMagna
The metals and mining industry is littered with companies who had great, if not fantastic projects; only to go down the tubes or not come close to valuations they should have had because of bad management decisions.
An old friend who was a household name in this industry once said " Give me a first class management team with a second class project, versus a first class project with a second class management team.
IR/PR is critical at Nevsun's junction right now and its significantly lower not because projects didn't panout, but because as Tony just described why.
Davis is half out the door but Trebilcock is still there as far as we know and IMHO, the poor communication that led to where we are now, is at his feet. And yes, it was a poor presentation noted here a few days ago. And to top it all off, he owns just 8500 shares according to the latest Sedar filing. Sorry, but the guy most responsible for telling our story and developing investor interest owns only 8500 shares and walks through a presentation like he's bored, he needs to go.
But here's to hoping I'm wrong and despite this serious dead weight, we all do well.
Peace out!
