RE:RE:RE:$2.12 Unfortunately, permitting is a big issue, at least for now. Yes, the patented land will be the mouth of the mine and for infrastructure, but realistically, so many more permits to go. Look in the area, Resolution and Rosemont are still plagued with permits regarding air, water, and then the animal issue. What I believe AMI might be banking on is the inevitable signing into law of the National Strategic and Critical Minerals Act or H.R. 520. To be in production in 3+ years is quite lofty given the current political scene. The Bill will put time limits on applications rather than having applications drag on for years. AMI's neighbour, Regal Resources Inc., has been waiting since 2011
for permits to drill 5-6 exploratory holes on non patented land. They received permits in late 2014 only to have it taken back in 2015 by a
special interest group appealing it in court and taking the matter from the State's hands and into hand picked District Court Judges who will give a ruling in their favour. Wildcat tried for permits in 2011 with no success and recently cancelled their own
application for 8 exploratory holes. Anyways, people are probably thinking AMI is in the same boat as Resolution and Rosemont, years away from permits and production. The Obama administration turned their back on addressing the matter for the past 8 years and caused all these issues and frivolous law suits from environment groups. You can see the framework changing if you keep an eye on the House Committee on Natural Resources site. Previous introductions of the same Bill in 2011, 2013, 2015 all passed the House but not the Senate. The stock market is a court for public opinion, people's opinions will change with time and should see a good rise in price, but only after red tape has been removed.
Video of Bill reading in 2013 Another good video to listen to. The chairman's comments from 15:42-19:35 are encouraging. He is also from Arizona to boot.
