Surge Energy Inc. is a Canada-based oil focused exploration and production (E&P) company. The Company's business consists of the exploration, development and production of oil and gas from properties in Western Canada. It holds focused and operated light and medium gravity crude oil properties in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, characterized by large oil in place crude oil reservoirs with low recovery factors. It offers exposure to two of the five conventional oil growth plays in Canada: the Sparky and SE Saskatchewan. It holds a dominant land position and is drilling a mix of horizontal multi-frac and horizontal multi-lateral wells in the Sparky area. Sparky is a large, well established oil producing fairway in Western Canada. SE Saskatchewan is a focused operated asset base with light oil operating netbacks. SE Saskatchewan operates low-cost wells with short payouts and offers potential for continued area consolidation.

RE:What a drop !

RE:What a drop !Not happy to see SGY,SPE,TVE continue to lose ground when oil is at $53 but we held our own this week compared to the others I mentioned. TVE was down almost 10% the last 2 days and SPE down around 9% off the high of the week. Keep hearing how we are all down and have 100% higher targets in a year. We have a lot of insider buying and at $53 oil we can generate a good cash flow. Our day has to come soon. The worst part this week was oil inventories that were bullish yet the last 2 days oil was hit very hard on the share prices not the oil price. Seems we can not fight the trend when the big boys want the shares down it will happen.
