Mouthpieces – Their Figures & AssumptionsIt should be painfully obvious by now that quoting and hanging one’s hat on blogger, newsletter writer, “analyst”, fund manager comments usually results in disappointment and frustration. We all know or should know that the vast majority of these comments are self-serving in one form or another and/or, as seems to be the case right now (cash value), are based on figures and assumptions which are no longer relevant.
 
I am not going to dissect the lunacy of recent comments about present and future cash value, aside from ... Don’t live in the past. Adjust your numbers as bits and pieces of information become available. Pay attention to current and (hinted at) future spending patterns and don’t fall into the wishful thinking trap in terms of future revenues and their timing.
 
Cash is a valuable asset, especially for a microcap, but it’s a diminishing one as long as operating costs exceed revenue ...
