RE:RE:Largest Short Position Ever For EMHReally?? You've got 4 star profile rating and cant read charts?? I've already explained what the charts mean at "Shortdata.ca" a couple of months ago
when people were screaming that millions of shares were being shorted when in fact the actual short position was just over 28,000 shares lol.
Barely anyone does their own real DD on here anymore. If they did they"d actually try to understand the info before they post it. Give you a hint
about the charts at "Shortdata.ca" - It's based on short traded volume over a 15 day span compared to the regular volume during that same span.
Those charts mean very little when considering the now since all they do is provide data that already happened.

EHM shorts are much higher than those at stockwatch.com
Moreover, I think there should be a 4-month restriction for those bought-deal shares (about 10M, Feb 2017), as I understand.

78,179,698 Shares issued - 45,646,555 Emerald Health Sciences Shares = 32,533,143 Available Retail Shares divided by 5,357,000 Shares being shorted = 16.4% of the available retail sharesbeing shorted.
That's a large amount when considering the average short position for stocks is between 3 to 4%. The shorts have an uncanny ability to almost always cover their positions with nice gains while creating much uncertainty for the short to midterm holder. It seems the shorts are expecting much more of a pullback since they didn't cover on April 13th when the low was $1.47. A big reason is they have a lot of wiggle room and thus can wait it out since they borrowed the shares being shorted above $2.
If the interest in EMH and this sector maintains the current pace for the next few weeks then a short squeeze is also very possible.
Right now I'm looking at this sector and EMH as a spectator sport that will be fun to watch.
