RE:RE:RE:Don't forget Chidliak is on crown landThe first page after the table contents in this IIBA with BIM and QIA clearly shows the legal speak -
QIA_BIM_agreement It specifically refers to IOL and Nunavut Lands Claim acts and cites specific sections in that act.
It would probably be wise for PGD to set up an IIBA for all the kimberlites on IOL lands and attached to the prosperity of those pipes only. Then set up a community agreement with the rest.
The term Partially on IOL may be the the grey area between the two parties.
Hypothetically pipes that may never make it to the LOM plan....does that preclude it from being part of the development project or not?
If I look at the kimberlites on IOL...it looks like they all reside on QILAQ...which is another grey area. Technically indepedent of Chidliak...yet they have sometimes said in Technical reports the it is inclusive.
There may be an option for a QILAQ IIBA and a Chidliak community agreement.
Tough to say. Any agreement is not something PGD would be in the position of purusing now anyway.
LONG...PGD
