RE:RE:RE:RE:............52 Week Low..........@$%$&^%$%u_.....!!!!!!!!!!!Same, doesn't seem to be a reason for it. If you follow the smaller investments they're all up markedly if you assume they've held on until now, which I believe is the case because they were substantial holders and it would have been reported if such sales had occurred.
Only thing I can think of is a reaction to the lower LIX share price, as that is all the market had really given Aberdeen credit for over the last year or so. No news out of ATP as of yet, hopefully PGM's can sustain a decent rally in the months ahead. Aberdeen had wanted to take the company public and/or resume mining at Smokey Hills. I can only presume that reason that hasn't happened as of yet is due to the dismal performance of the PGM's over the last 3-6 months.
Still, from a fundamental perspective, assuming no significant change, AAB's holdings are worth more than they were as of October 31, 2016. On top of that, one of their core holdings in LIX/PLASA have begun construction on the pilot plant in Argentina, that commenced at the end of February, if I'm not mistaken. I suppose we'll see when year-end results are released.
