I am a big fan of PPY

I bought my first positon in PPY today based on valuation, seasonality, hatred of nat gas stocks and negative sentiment on the PPY recent acquisition. I bought a small postion in PPY after the company purchase about a month ago but sold quickly after stock price support was broken. Now I am starting my position today with a small purchase and I will buy more spread out over the next 30 days.

With ALA working with Veresen  to get gas to the Chicago hub and PPY's deal with ALA I see some nice distrubution lines going forward for PPY gas. I am 100% sure  ALA encouraged PPY to make that company  purchase.

Overall, l see Natural gas as the one true solution to dangerous Nuclear and Dirty Coal air electricity all around the globe as time goes on.  I see this as the perfect storm for buying gas stocks at their lowest prices going forward. Not to mention that the new assests acquired from that company purchase have a lot more liquids that are becomming very valuable especially those condesates. LNG exports out of the U.S. are rapidly increasing the market desire for Natural  gas going forward. It is one of those catch 22's where you have to first create the supply to then create the market.
