RE:RE:RE:Who sell??

RE:RE:RE:Who sell??We have an interesting seesaw in the 2:80-3:00 range.   Not quite sure what to make of it but it is most probably not one of Tembec's institutional shareholders.   Fairfax is in this for the long haul and the others (Steelhead, Oaktree, Restructuring Capital) are unlikely to be selling while the macro environment for Tembec's products is on the upswing.

I suspect that there are some retail sellers who have made a decent buck buying this in the $1 range over the last 2 years and a 200% return looks appealing enough to get out, also the lumber dispute overhang is probably affecting the Canadian only lumber company's (Canfor, Interfor and West Fraser have all been on an upswing lately but one could argue that is because their US mills provide a hedge against US trade action).

I reckon that next Tuesday/Wednesday will be a big day of trading for CDN lumber companies and TMB may see some sell off.  The following week TMB will release what is hopefuly smashing results which get long term investors attention.  SC ethers are on fire right now and that is right in TMB's wheelhouse.   Little US exposure on that front (except that most transactions are priced in US$, whch for the moment is beneficial to TMB) and I expect the market to take notice of the significant EBITDA jump of the SC operations.

Should be a fun 2-3 weeks.   Have a great weekend all.
