RE:RE:DONE! Solar Alliance Completes Non-brokered Private PlacemeTrue, they are still doing the brokered portion. Need some cash to establish an office in LA for the acquisition they just closed. They will be subbing out the lower margin install side of the business. The installer also supplies the panels, and they don't want to be in a position where they are buying a bunch of panels in bulk, and getting stuck with them. The tech is changing fast, and newer and better panels are coming out all the time, and making the old ones obsolete. This is part of the reason the private company couldn't make money, so this is how they are improving on the model. They expect they can run a profitable business after this.
They plan to show footage of William Shatner's home with the panels installed once they get it done. Aside from that, it will take a bit of time before they can show the numbers rolling in on financials, but I expect that they will keep us updated with a few milestones (number of installs in the first month, or something like that) along the way. This is just speculation on my part, because they see,pm to be quite good at keeping shareholders updated - better than most coampanies on the venture for sure.
The IR guy is Spyro, and he's very responsive to shareholders. He is based in Toronto, when I spoke to him last week he was New York, and today he was in Brazil (I wondered why it sounded funny when it rang when I called, lol). His number is at the bottom of the press releases.
It it looks like these guys are the real deal, and trying to build a stable, profitable business. Also looks like $40M in revenue a year, at a bargain price. And we finally have a bullboard to discuss it!
IMHO and good luck to all!
