RE:RE:One More Thought to ConsiderHere is some facts for people who do not understand the system
1) OSC/IIROC/ASC/BCSC do not read BulletinBoards to look for violations. They treat BulletinBoards as the fungus they are.
2) OSC/IIROC/ASC/BCSC will only read BulletinBoards if charges have been laid, or they are building a case against a company. They do so to see if company officials are posting on the boards when they should not be.
3) OSC/IIROC/ASC/BCSC never files charges against posters. Generally an investigation of a company may result in some things that lead them to a poster. But they do not abritrarily file charges, investigate, or monitor posters on BBs
4) Here is one for diamondlil1 who insisted she/he/it was offended because of something I said and if I was not banned she would begin an action against me. The reason I smiled is because diamondlil1 does not know shat from shinola. You cannot charge an "alias" with slander, So if I say diamondlil1 is a whack job who deserves to be in a mental institution. That is not slander, why? Because diamondlil1 does not exist in the real world. So Canadian Law does not allow aliases to be charged or action taken against an alias, unless;
That alias is using the real names of people or the real and registered name of a company. So if I were to say P O is a farkin_______ that is ___________ and should be____________ for life.
Then I have used a Real Name of a person in a Real Position in Charge of a Real Company.
So if Burgerbits, were to post as BurgerBits and claim he is an official of a company, one would have to prove that what he posted (saying he was the President of SJL) was believable or true.
The reason that is the case is I could post, "Hi I am the_Chief, CEO of Microsoft" and stop posting you do not like me lol
So the law is quite clear on what happens on BBs and what does not. I notice the Chief Nutbar RollerCoasterIdiot has posted that the ASC is after people that post they do not like SJL and that only posters that call for 40c are safe from this investigation. This is why its taken me so long to answer his stupid post. I have been laughing so long I have been unable to type. lol
