too bad that the 3%discount applies to the 14.10+average share price.
it will earn close to a $1 a share, all of it being returned to you.
just look at it as what it really is, a bond, paying 4.75% over prime.
these shares in mho, are not meant to be traded back and forth..
but if you are not sure in FC health, and if
the Home Capital gives you sleppless nights, then sure, sell it and if you till like FC,
wait for an entree 
when the clowds recede...
or else, buy FN, which is also offered at a considerable discount with the tax efficient monthly divi.
