I just contacted to BCSC (1-800-373-6393) about the bi-weekly reporting period for ELR asking for a timeframe and if it should have been filed by now. After some ha's and hmm's he all of the sudden said I was 'breaking up and could not hear me on the phone.' Then said to contact the company and went back to his 'you're breaking up-I can not hear you' routine (I get the same line from Revenue Canada scammers when I ask them for their number).
I wouldn't place any trust in the BCSC--as for contacting ELR it is useless advice as they simply do not respond to emails.
Any feedback from others on whether emails from ELR are returned or in dealings with BCSC?
I have been in touch with regulators for months and have provided them with a lot of documentation from both Canadian and Chinese sources. They are useless, but, I am not surprised because:
a) ELR is not a mega cap company
b) nobody is suing ELR
c) regulators got bigger fish to fry
I spoke with BCSC this AM as well and chewed the guy out asking how these guys can get away with not filing a bi-weekly and he gave me as half a s s e d a response as what you received. Likely we spoke with the same person :)
And, yes, of course, ELR is worth way more... but, this is irrelevant at this point given the circumstances of what transpired in the past year.
