Saxpinn wrote: After sending an email the other day, Greg (NH's IR rep) was kind enough to give me a shout to address my questions over the phone. Spent a good 40 mins yapping about the industry challenges and NH game plan moving forward. Some of it was over my head with regards to each States constantly changing laws and what businesses can and can't do in each. There was a fair bit of generalizing which is to be expected as he can't release specifics (and my questions were specific) but the tone was certainly optimistic. He's full of insightful info and it's hard to get the questions in at times but I managed to squeeze what I could out of him.
Some may not know this but Greg has been "involved" with oil extraction (in one way or another) for 3 plus decades! He told me this after I asked about Billy Morrison (NH chief extractor). It was a conference call he had with Billy and Adam Szweras (corporate secretary/director) that sold him on the company and why he is now invested and working as the company's IR. He said, "I've seen it all when it comes to oil extraction and Billy's extraction process/technique blew my mind!" Greg strongly believes (and I agree) that oils are the future of the industry because oil is so versatile and is also used to infuse the edibles. So when you have a Billy on the team, the guy Canopy growth went to for insight, it's a good thing.
I asked, what is the next big catalyst that's going to move the SP. He said it's hard to say because there's so much happening and lot's in the pipes. Hard to predict which news will come first and which could affect the SP ie updates on properties, expansions, product sales/releases (which are just kicking into gear. Lot's going on that makes him excited but agrees, harder perhaps for the typical investor to see. The only thing that is predictable (date wise) is the Q releases and as sales kick into gear, each Q should get better and better. He did say the FLI edibles line will be on shelves sooner than later but couldn't give dates. The way he was talking, it sounds like NH wants to "drop seeds" across the States and definitely into Canada. Expansion and gaining a foothold for long-term market dominance. He said ideally, finding the all in one facility,
where flower production, oil extraction, product development and distribution can all be done in one place is ideal. Adamsville is a perfect example but he made it clear he can't go into details on that one, yet.
By the sounds of it, another strategy NH has implemented and will continue to do so is buying into existing licenses/dispensaries, whether it's med, rec or both. Something I was surprised to hear was what Greg is currently most excited about, which is NH subsidiary in Illinois. He said since relocating, which was a strategically brilliant, the TCE dispensary is doing remarkably well. He also informed me that IIllinois lawmakers have proposed rec MJ "and if it goes through, watch out!"
"On March 22, 2017, Illinois lawmakers proposed legalizing recreational marijuana in the state.[43] The measure would also allow residents to possess up to 28 grams of marijuana, or about an ounce, and to grow five plants. Early estimates found that legalized marijuana would generate between $350 to $700 million in annual sales." Source:

The Effingham location is in the heart of central Illinois and is adjacent to the intersection of two major interstate highways: I-57 and I-70. Located approximately 50 miles North West of the original intended location in Lawrenceville, IL, the new location is within minutes of the Keller Drive exit and entrance ramps which provide full on-off interstate access in all directions. The Effingham location is located in a high traffic regional business and retail district with several major big box retailers within minutes.
Effingham is a micropolitan center that draws workers from an 8 county area and has a trade population of 175,000. Being a regional center, people travel to Effingham to work, shop, and for their healthcare needs. As a result, patients can incorporate dispensary visits into other business that they have in the immediate area making the suitability of this location ideal for patients throughout the region. Being adjacent to a Veteran's Affairs Clinic will also provide convenient access for an important patient group.
The location is approximately 3,400 square feet and is designed to be secure, efficient, and promote safe dispensing of medical cannabis. Members of the public will not be given access to the retail area of the dispensary, and dispensary agents will closely monitor patient flow, all of which will ensure that patients are safe and comfortable when engaging in their transactions in the retail area.
The proposed site has two designated handicapped parking spaces within fifty feet of the entrance. There is also a ramp for easy wheelchair access. The proposed site is new construction and fully ADA compliant.

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 5, 2017) - Nutritional High International Inc. (the "Company" or "Nutritional High") (CSE:EAT)(CSE:EAT.CN)(OTCQB:SPLIF)(FRANKFURT:2NU) is pleased to announce an update for its medical cannabis dispensary in Effingham, IL. Since its grand opening in September 2016, The Clinic Effingham ("TCE") has experienced a strong month-to-month growth in sales and stable gross margins, which are attributed to an expanding patient count and a strong patient and physician outreach program.
TCE achieves a monthly returning patient rate of over 90%, which demonstrates a strong and loyal customer base. To service the patient base, TCE has started working with more cultivators licensed with Illinois Department of Agriculture to expand its product offering, and has also hired additional staff in the effort to provide exceptional customer service.

The current SP has me and I'm sure many of you disgruntled but after this chat with Greg, I will continue to hold my position, just have to be patient (as the market makes money on impatience) and let the game plan take effect. Hope this was constructive for some of you.
EAT long & Prosper!
