"Metallurgical test work carried out on the Cordero samples indicate that the deposit will be
amenable to treatment by conventional flotation processing methods. Comminution tests showedthat the mineralized material has average hardness and low abrasiveness and variability typical of a large porphyry system. More
than 90% of lead, silver and zinc were recovered to lead andzinc concentrates at the rougher stage. Only 40% of gold reported to the lead and zinc
concentrates with 43% of the gold reporting to
the pyrite concentrate. Concentrate upgrade
using open-cycle cleaner flotation should be
conducted to confirm whether similar high
recoveries would be achievable at production level..."
