You might want to do a google search of a poster that worked these boards several years ago that used the handle "Coffintrader", that had a habit of doing just what i mentioned. You will see just how illegal it is to constantly uptick a stock, almost immediately after the bid has been hit, in an attempt to manipulate the price.
What he would do is dump a whack of shares into the bids, and then uptick the price to make it look like the stock was trading at a higher price. When the offers were weak he would buy at as high a price as possible with a small trade, and when the bids would start to bid he would sell into them, all the while pumping and spamming all over these boards.
He was warned by a few other posters as well as myself, because it was obvious what his little game was, but he persisted. I believe it cost him a $100k fine and lifetime trading ban.
So if that is you attempting to manipulate the market, i would advise you to stop.
As for the 26k that was sold into the market, i trade through 33 Canaccord and 59 PI, not house 9
