Here's the latest that I've got on the final debate between macron and le pen.  Several news sources seem to give macron the edge after the 2nd debate.  Macron has urban support, whereas le pen has rural.  The msm has disdain for le pen, but they glorify macron.  The whole situation there reminds me of what we saw in the u.s. just before the election.

My opinion has evolved to thinking that le pen has a good chance of actually scoring an upset win.  The increasing complacency of macron voters and heavily biased msm may lull macron supporters to skip the vote on election day, thinking that their candidate has it in the bag.  But the impassioned le pen voters, I suspect, will double-down and get out the vote.  After all, this is their line in the sand.   Le pen's populism message I'm sure plays very well to many in france.  No more open borders has wide-spread appeal.  I think le pen's lower poll #s don't truly reflect her actual popularity.  People don't want to be perceived as being rascist or islamaphobic, so they tell pollsters they'll vote for macron.  This would be much like what happened with trump.

So the election is this sunday.  There's a 6-hour time diff between paris and ny, so we should have a good idea who the winner will be by maybe 5 pm est.  We'll see what happens.    Jmvho.
