Cominar Real Estate Investment Trust Unit T.CUF.UN

Primary Symbol: CMLEF

Cominar Real Estate Investment Trust is a Canadian REIT involved in the ownership and management of properties throughout the Canadian provinces. Cominar's real estate portfolio comprises a mix of office, retail, and industrial and mixed-use properties. While industrial and mixed-use assets are the most numerous and command the most square footage in the company's portfolio, office and retail locations combined represent the vast majority of the portfolio's total value. Most of Cominar's properties are located in the Greater Quebec City and Montreal areas. The company derives nearly all of its revenue from rental income from its investment properties. The source of this revenue is largely split between Cominar's office and retail locations.

Its pretty obvious

Its pretty obviousIts not CUF... Its the markets in general... want to find blame?? look at HCG, start with them, they have basically single handedly triggered fears in the entire real estate industry, now everyone is looking at the canadian real estate industry as a whole and saying "is the bubble bursting?" REITS get lumped in with all this because they owe money on properties they rent, and own real estate that "may be" suddenly decreasing in value... is the NAV dropping??? If so then the share must drop also... so sell sell sell... or you can look at it as though the real estate markets are fine, and not over priced, and the economy is doing reasonably well and not much has changed to induce this "fear" or "panic"..... Buy more I say and in 2 or 3 months all this will be water under the bridge becuase it will be realized that home capital fkd themselves only and not single handidly the entire industry... they are far far to small to be a barometer for the entire canadian marketplace and their illegal activities will come out and everyone else will be fine...
