The cashflow weakened significantly in a short period when oil collapsed and is not that attractive a project anymore due to the current Brent pricing despite the huge proven reserves. Its a very different situation than this as the fundamentals for copper and zinc are much more positive . Bankers were in a tight spot with low margins and not a ton of financial might in a tough environment and they knew they had to make that deal. NSU is in a much better position both in terms of the market for their products and their financials. In resource stocks, cash is king.
