Their concern for the Gaspe region, the employees and suppliers of the region who could be out crippling amounts of money if Orbite goes bankrupt is quite touching. Those idiot vermin yelling absurdities while the stock is halted should crawl back under the rocks they came from. The only disappointing part of the news release was that it was Denis Arguin who took the fall and left Orbite instead of Glenn Kelly. If Orbite is able to restructure I hope the trustee insists on replacing Glenn Kelly with an accomplished bussinessman.
I disagree with you. Arguin was probably a big part of why Orbite is in deep $hit right now. Being the vice-president of engineering and operation, he should have known a long time ago that when you push the calcinator over 1,5/ 2 tons per day, he doesn't react too good. If you design an equipment suppose to produce 3 tons on a daily basis and up to 5 tons of HPA per day, you should be able to bring it over 5,5 / 6 tons per day, at least 12 hours in a row several time, before you accept the equipment from Outotec. Orbite only went over 1 ton of HPA per day for 3 days in a row, if i remembered correctly. Anyways, they were far from achieving their goal in the last 18 / 24 months. Kelly is receiving rocks from everywhere, but at one point, he has to have some trust in his technical, operational and engineering team.
