EXAS Rumor

EXAS Rumor I personally haven't heard the rumor about EXAS potentially acquiring CRH but I think it does make sense. Cologuard can FIND cancer and pre-cancer but it can't TREAT these symptoms (polyps).

From Cologuard's website "Any positive test should be followed by a diagnostic colonoscopy. "

By acquiring CRH they would be able to offer their clients both the test (Cologuard) and the treatment (colonoscopy). They would get more margin out of each client, so the acquisition could be very accretive to EXAS. This is further magnified by the fact that CRH is extremely profitable and after this selloff it is now trading cheaply (read: opportunity for EXAS to buy on the cheap.)

Next, EXAS is currently sitting on a Net Cash position and is roughly 9 times the size of CRH by market capitalization which makes the acquisition even more likely.
EXAS is up 10% today on double the normal volume and CRH is up 5% on decent volume. Some people may be starting to put the dots together.

Thoughts on EXAS acquiring CRH?
