In my opinion, anyone holding this view would be irrational to stay in it. Now, having said that, s&b is probably in over his head on this and thinks that he has to continue to hold in order to recoup his losses. 

I think it is fair to say that the board has evaluated s&b's position, given it all the consideration it warrants and doesn't need any repetition of it.
