RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Looks like Sandvine is the market Leader :) $$$$That's why I consider a simple comparison to be incorrect (as posted earlier). They aren't the same animal. SVC has more potential for value-add and continuing relationships with customers, and this is a counterforce to saturation.

I don't even know that Nortel was much of a software company. Nortel never sold into the policy market ... nor did they have equipment that could largely be used to develop new software offerings on the policy side. SDN and NFV should open up new markets for Sandvine, as should network security products and many new offerings that are under development. Many software innovations being introduced and coming. Not really comparable to an overweight and sick beast like Nortel. Just saying.
