RE:Aggressive marketing to Ramp Up Deposit Rates

RE:Aggressive marketing to Ramp Up Deposit RatesWhat are they waiting for??? Why haven't they already started an agressive marketing campaign? 1.75 % for savings accounts? what's the big deal ? they are being out bid by equitable trust? how about at least beating equitable? try 3 % its got to be cheaper than borrowing from HOOP and would have slowed the bleeding.  But its an obvious first start?  How about doing the rounds on the financial press? Take out a full page ad in the Financial Post and the Globe and Mail ? Tell you side of the story,  Reassure people that their deposits are safe with you.  Do  some mea culpa and win back their confidence.  Hiding behind press releases doesn't help.
