Dissertation on Cannabis Medicinal in Concepcin del Uruguay

"It will be an open and multidisciplinary meeting, where the legal relevance of the use and cultivation of cannabis for medicinal purposes will be discussed and the legislative issue will be discussed," according to reports from the commune.



This Thursday 18 May will be a day of reflection on medicinal cannabis. An activity organized jointly between the Municipality of Concepcin del Uruguay through the Secretary of Health and the Faculty of Health Sciences of Uner, coordinated by the National Representative Carolina Galliard, president of the Health Committee of the Lower House of Congress .
 
As reported from the commune through a communiqu, there will be speakers of first level, in a day that will be open to the whole community. It will be on Thursday at 17:30 in the Magna classroom of the Faculty located at Sartorio Street 2160. 

La Jornada aims to be a channel to show what happens in different areas of Argentine society: It is beginning to enable the importation of cannabis oil for specific treatments; Worldwide medical advances where cannabis is used show greater benefits day by day; And in our Latin American context, Uruguay took the initiative to legalize marijuana and Chile has allowed the production of cannabis for medicinal purposes. 

"It will be an open and multidisciplinary meeting, which will discuss the current legal status of the use and cultivation of cannabis for medicinal purposes and will discuss the bills currently in force in the Chamber of Deputies of the Nation," said Sergio Bertelotti , Secretary of Health of the municipality. In addition, doctors and researchers will report on the latest advances in medical science and its development in Argentina and other countries where medical cannabis has already been legalized. 

Finally, relatives of patients treated with cannabis will tell their experience and the improvements they saw in their loved ones with the development of the treatment. 

The lectures will be by National Representative Carolina Galliard, MPs Mariela Tassistro and Miriam Lambert, Dr. Silvia Kochen and Dr. Mara Rosana Ramrez researchers CONICET, Dr Daro Andrinolo (UNLP), Marcelo Rubinstein (UBA), the Dr. Carlos Magdalena, Director of the Children's Neurology Service of the Gutierrez Hospital (CABA); Ana Mara Garca Nicora, President of Medicinal Cannabis of Argentina (CAMEDA); Valeria Salech, President of Mama Cultiva Argentina and Ms. Carola Olavarra (Mama Cultiva Entre Ros) 

About Medical Cannabis
