Too bad for them. A premium of 52% is peanuts compared to what a major is going to have to fork out for PVG.

As I have said all along, it would probably have to be an (extremely) hostile bid because Pretium has a mine, a mill, and a management that has spent years of blood sweat & tears developing this asset. It's clearly been a labor of love for Quartermain in particular and he's not doing it just for the money.

If the company was going to be bought out, I think it would have happened by now. Pretium has the resources to become a mid-tier producer, perhaps even a major itself some day.
