Diamond Industry outlook vs just MPV

Diamond Industry outlook vs just MPVOK, I know there are many on this board smarter than I just based on the math I see coming out of some of these posts to determine whether we own a dog or a winner. I have been in this for a very long time, though have really only been lurking here for a few years since being active. I do have a couple of questions now though, so thought I would come out of the shadows to ask you bunch of smarty pants...

I get there can be arguments to be made on either side of the "winner/loser" debate but lets assume for a minute that MPV is still a well managed company that has not misrepresented itself or the mine's potential. What I want to know, from those with an educated opinion, is where they think the diamond market is headed. Take the producers out of it, lets just talk about the if and when of the market itself recovering.

Personally, I believe in the company and feel the current weakness is simply coming online when the market is down such as it is. Whether I should continue to hold after the next rally is a question of the outlook for the diamond market IMHO.

Looking forward to everyone's input.
