Slow But SteadyHey Mates,
Like Benduck I've been with with Tinka for some time. Like most specs over the decades that I researched out, then pulled the trigger on, it's had its good, and not so good times, fortunately mostly the former, but that's all part of the game.
The land parcels it was assembling back during the '07 - '09 financial crisis were exceptional, and located in a prime geological rergion. This intrigued me. For one to pass on this series of acquisitions they were making quietly would have been a big mistake. Over the subsequent few years we enjoyed one great run as we moved through the Exploration phase, and the speculator in me did reasonably well.
However things changed with me in '15 - '16. I had still retained a small position after the great run-up, I guess more to keep it on radar. Maybe by this time it was that i had recently retired or was losing that gambling spiirit. Whatever, I began to realize that Tinka was no longer the typical VSE shell, but in fact had assembled an exceptional land package, was hiring some top geologists, and putting together a solid mgt.and ownership group. I started buying again for the first time in almost 7 years.
Now as we work our way through the Development stage, while extending the size and grade of the deposits, Tinka is taking shape like few suspected.
I see the glass here as half full. Like Benduck and a few others, I expect us to move smoothly through the Development stage, and those with solid positions are going to do just fine.
Blue skies ahead!
Cheers,
Brit
