RE:RE:RE:Nikola truck

RE:RE:RE:Nikola truckHi Choice etal, Thanks for the reply. The Nikola plan doesn't cost more than say the 365k over the 6 years for the unit, fuel, maintenance. If the average cost to run a class 8 truck is a $1.65 per mile. That comes out to $1.65 x 1000000 = $1,650,000. We don't know what part of this is the unit, fuel, and maintenance. Someone else can figure that out. (Maybe a truck driver owner) Again we don't know the wage component and insurance, admin related cost's of the Nikola. So if I was a trucking company and could save this kind of money and I didn't because of my bad math and bad attitude, then I deserve to lose my business. I don't think they will be the sole manufacturers if the demand out Strips their capacity to meet the demand. I don't believe it will take years to meet the market demands with other manufacturers building them! Some people won't understand what they are doing and still drive the diesel trucks. I took a little time to view the videos on the company's website. I have to admit the technology is a game changer. Ryder are providing the location for service dealerships and refuelling stations. Based on the 4 billion in pre-orders. They should do well. These vehicles can be leased over the 6 years term, so if one can generate the business to pay the lease, they are providing the independent owners a very lucrative ability to make an income. For the participants they will do very well. While some people will still be watching them wondering what the heck and how they are doing that! It's all good. Life goes on! GLTA especially all the olde longs
