I'm long term investor.
That said I was up $80,000 in TLT about 2 1/2 and never took any off the table.
So just view things differently.
50K shares means I'm up $7500 here. Sell half free ride. Goes back under 20. Buy back.
Not end of world thinking out loud.
Why would I be sarcastic? Well, a leopard can't change his spots; I'm sarcastic in real life - constantly getting myself in trouble so its no different here. So, I apologize. No insult intended.
That being said, I find the idea of flipping PMN for small gains to be a questionable strategy. That's just my opinion, of course you are free to do what you think is best for you. You bought at .14 and you could have sold for more than a 100% profit. Yes, I
do consider that a small gain.
I understand the various investment strategies quite well. The buy, sell, re-buy lower plan requires multiple correct price calls - very difficult to do and numerous pitfalls await. If you believe a significant buyout is coming why would you want to take a chance of being "out" when the news comes for the sake of a few thousand dollars? If you don't believe a buyout is coming why are you invested is such a speculative and risky company?
That's where the sarcasm comes in - I would have said something along the lines of; anyone who would sell at this point for pennies obviously has no idea what they bought or why they bought it. That's a joke. You seem to know what you're doing and even if you didn't it's none of my business.
I wish you success whatever you decide to do and please don't be offended.
