Preoccupied.... while Lac Dore rests quietly. "Adriaan Bakker's Vanadiumcorp Resource Inc. (VRB), down one-half cent to 7.5 cents on 223,000 shares, has sold 13.42 million shares at six cents raising $805,000."
"Mr. Bakker, president and CEO, says the new cash is for "advancing the patent-pending Vanadiumcorp-Electrochem process technology," as well as test production and operating capital. The company has been increasingly preoccupied over the past year with metallurgical work regarding the production of vanadium electrolyte. Meanwhile, the company's primary reason to care about such development -- the Lac Dore vanadium project near Chibougamau in Northern Quebec -- rests quietly. At last report, Lac Dore held 99.1 million tonnes at 0.43 per cent vanadium pentoxide and a long-promised preliminary economic assessment is still nowhere to be seen." excerpts from Stockwatch Commentary by Will Purcell
