Interesting diatribe

I am always surpised to see the extent to which people will go to discredit company representatives with the only justification being their own personal peceptions.

How many here are versed with the process of engaging the board of a company?
Do you as a shareholder believe that you can micromange a company or the board based on the perceptions that you hold?
While boards may take shareholder suggestions into consideration, their function is to be stewards and bring their business judgement and experience to their role in order to execute the company's business strategy and create long-term value for shareholders.
While transparency and communication serve as a risk mitigation strategy, so must the protection of partner strategic initiatives and respecting corporate non-disclosure.
The annual sharholders meeting does provide a venue for all shareholders to voice concern and engage the company in a meaningful forum.
While I am certain that some of the companies we choose to invest in do follow the rhetoric on these public stock boards, I am equally certain that it the personal attacks conveyed in these forums fail to achieve any kind of meaningful message other than to re-affirm the blatant ignorance of some.
While we as shareholders can be critical, I would humbly suggest that the focus here should remain on reasoned due diligence of the public disclosures of EGT and our partners.
Short term, medium term , and long term have their own specific meanings for each of us. This play has never been about a quick flip or short term gains (at least from my perspective). If that was your mindset when investing in EGT, then flipping 1 or 2 pennies can be onerous, and demands alot of attention and focus that most of us do not posess on this microcap level.
I'm guessing that most do not conduct themselves in the real world they way that some do here in this forum.
We get to choose what this discussion looks like... If your intent is to come across as a whiny, snivelling mal-informed child like trader who thinks the world or the CEO owes you a quick profit, then good luck trying to get meaningful engagement from the D & Os.
