First, there is 50 to 100 meters of pourous sand and gravel over bedrock. It is an aquifer with more water in it than in Paterson Lake. Then there is the top 100 meters of bedrock wihch is liekely unmineable due to water inflows as it is highly fractured and therefore has very high groundwater flows. Given the size of the proposed pit by FCU, I doubt they could economically treat all the water inflows. However, I do give credit to FCU management for their promotional ability to keep the share price as high as it is.....simply amazing.
