Rights offerings are a great way for the company to raise capital while giving existing investors the opportunity to avoid being diluted. This is a particularly attractive offering because there is an attached warrant at a very low exercise, and one got a right for every share held. So if you held stock through the rights offering, you got a very good deal.
In addition, should you choose to not exercise your right, you can still sell it, and I would guess it will sell for at least a penny (i would buy the rights for .01). And, the underlying security has not really traded down ex-rights. In fact, by trading around 3 cents, it is actually above the price it has been at for the past 3 months or so.
Soooo sell your rights and underlying stock if you're so unhappy. Ill be happy to pick them up
