RE:Application Process: Becoming a Licensed ProducerBirdwatch wrote: Effective May 26, 2017, the application process for becoming a licensed producer of cannabis for medical purposes is as follows:
- Intake and Initial Screening
- Detailed Review and Initiation of Security Clearance Process
- Issuance of Licence to Produce
- Introductory Inspection (as cultivation begins)
- Pre-Sales Inspection
- Issuance of Licence to Sell
This is great news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You may have noticed in the last several News Releases, Mr. Boris Z.
using the term "
Late Stage Application" & Roymax is a "
Late Stage Applicant".
As per the above Application Process see;
Apr. 06/17 NR - "completed Security Clearance Stage & is in the Final review Stage..."
It is true, that this application has progressed to the
latter stages of the
"Initial Application"
which is all "on paper" - as information gathering & documentation
(ie. location, zoning, municiple services & approvals, security features, etc. etc. )
The next Stages are the
Largest part of the process however;
- the "Build Out" / Setup phases which require
much more Work / Time / and Money .
(MMJ has agreed to pay
$$ 2.2 million ! + plus ! ? ? as their share in partnership
toward this 'build-out /set-up" - which they clearly do not have at present. )
It would be accurate to say that this application is in the
Early Stages of a prolonged,
expensive, Health Canada supervised process, which many before them have realized.
