Why invest in Canada

Why invest in CanadaI can't find many reasons to invest here anymore.  In fact I can think of many reasons not to.

1.   NDP govt's now in both BC and Alberta, with the liberals holding down the fed.
2.  Minimum wage going up 30% in two years in both Ont and BC, highest in North America
3.  New carbon taxes that increase every year
4.  Higher federal tax rates for high earners
5.  Record hydro bills, the highest in the country if you live in Ontario
6.  Some of the highest housing costs in the world, avg price in Canada now over $600k
7.  Ontario at least has the highest per capita provincial debt levels in the entire world
8.  NAFTA negotiations set to start shortly.  I don't think Trump will make it "better" for Canada
9.  Many jobs starting to be automated, estimates are up to 50% of them will disappeaer in the next 20 years
10.  Generally our country has incompetant management teams and CEO's, Nortel is gone, RIM has pretty much disappeared, HCG, PSN frauds everywhere, lack of oversight by the IIROC.

Did I miss anything?
