Reading that and other articles makes me wonder why we're still valued so lightly here... I would guess at some point a giant like Mapletree will want a piece of Vancouver student housing - do they invest now in equity positions of the Super and Mega Centre for example? Or do they just come buy the whole company once the heavy lifting is done? Strong student housing demand will NEVER go away in Vancouver. Period.
