Plus 20.4m common shares equals 43.97m shares at current share price of CDN$1.42 or USD$1.05 gives a market cap of USD$46.2m.
Add the face value of the remaining debt of $99m (instead of market value) and the EV is around USD$145m after the 2018 debentures convert.
They are buying back debt with free cash flow so that number will not be exact by the time they convert in 2018. EV would probably be lower than that since they are buying back debt.
In any case, that EV is still a lot lower than what you said of $283m.
