The whole electric car hype will rationalizeIt appears the media message that electric cars will replace conventional cars is getting some rational thinking.

According to top electric car experts, we are looking at 2035 and further for electric cars to have a significant impact on worldwide oil consumption.

China was interesting to watch because it focus on forcing the issue but it too, understands the limiations of EVs.

Furthemore, the market seems to think that car sharing and robocars need to be electric.  Nothing further from the truth.  

Watch real oil consumption trends in China and India for guidance on future needs.
