iTrade told me they could sell my shares for me if I wanted them to, I declined.

Best thing would be to quit iTrade by the looks of it, they also hold back dividends for a day or two or more at times. Before Scotia bought out eTrade I got my divs exactly on payment date, no waiting around for them for days.
