LSD Meeting PresentationThe
LSD meeting that biOasis described in their news release in going on now through June 10th in Germany. Maurizio Scarpa is the first presentation on the schedule tomorrow morning.
The news release stated "
Dr. Day’s presentation, “Improving the Probability of Success in CNS Drug Discovery and Development: A Case Study,” targets issues relating to therapies to treat the central nervous system (CNS). The workshop is academic in nature and will be attended by scientists from companies and institutions that are focused on lysosomal storage diseases."
Mark Day's name is not listed on the schedule, but I am assuming that he is presenting during one of the Workshop/Discussion/Case Reports time slots.
Does anyone know what day Mark Day is presenting? It is my understanding that biOasis will also be attending the upcoming Blood Brain Barrier conference in Boston, 13 & 14 June 2017.
On a side note, I have no interest in getting involved in the recent drama that appeared on this board in response to posts from pmrider and digitel. I don't know and don't really care about the behind the scenes conversations that JD alluded to, and admit I have no knowledge of the motives of any posters.
JD stated in one of his recent responses: "
Neither pmrider nor any other shareholder has the right to know everything the company's officers and directors are thinking and planning. When they want to talk, or need to talk, they will."
It is true that biOasis officers and directors need to keep many things confidential. However, I am not alone in feeling the frustration of biOasis keeping shareholders in the dark for way too long. Their website is antiquated and shareholder communication is poor. I'd much rather hear directly from biOasis than from Tailwinds Research Group. I would love to hear something announced soon after the LSD conference regarding an LSD trial (or Phase 0 Trastuzumab-Mtfp trial) as alluded to in the intro of this
Tailwinds Research Group report.
If 6 weeks is too short of a time to expect a company update from new CEO Mark Day, then when is it not too long? 2 months? 3 months? 6 months? Drama and motives of other posters aside, it is hard to argue that we are not due a comprehensive company update soon.
Best regards,
