RE:Shorts

RE:Shortswhile short interest is something to watch out for, I don't think its of much consequence for npi.

4 million shares in short equals about 2% of the outstanding shares...very insignificant in my opinion.

i believe most of the current short interest is from recent investors who hold npi in a losing position and are now hedging in case price drops should npi not get sold.

since npi is tighly held by insiders (especially james temerty) and longer term investors, I can't see that holding a short position will be fruitful...its my opinion that the stock would not drop that drastically in the event npi didn't sell, and would quickly recover considering the additional revenue coming down the pipe.

any drop in price from the sale not going through would create a very strong buying opportunity.

just my 2 cents.
