The fact it has been decided to make this testimony public is likely to drive further wedge between what has been described as a strained relationship between Trump and Sessions.
Should be a good show and any smoking gun evidence uncovered against Sessions would likely cause a positive impact on the US cannabis space (on the theory that Sessions is a big opponent of cannabis and the potential impact this may have).
