If Saudi FAS Holding Company had any interest in taking IPC private they would have taken the former CEO's shares which were sold at 50 cents instead of paying double now.
If you look at the financials they have been using Iplayco as their piggy bank to finance their playground structures. You can see this through the related party transactions. They would no longer be able to do this if they went private.
The parent company Alhokair likes to leverage so putting out $10 million for a company they already control makes no sense.
The company is greatly undervalued and tightly held. Even if they tried to do this they need a super-majority of shareholder support and there is a large number of shareholders who would block such a deal.
The costs of being public on the Venture exchange are less than 1% of sales which is relatively insignificant.
When a shareholder has a bare majority of 51% it is all about control. If they wanted a larger % they would have acquired it in the first place.
