Distinguish short-position and short-traded-volume

I was confused by these two before, however, after double check and called stockwatch etc. I noticed that -
The data in Stockwatch.com is SHORT POSITION - that is after all of the tradings (short and short cover), what is left as the FINAL POSITION. On stockwatch (they said the number is always from TSX) was :
